Fernando Caputo

Based in Brazil, Fernando returned to Alter Global as an investor after completing his MBA at INSEAD. Fernando serves as head of Alter's LATAM investments, working closely with founders and LATAM-based VC partners to execute investments on Alter's behalf in the region.

Fernando is passionate about developing the emerging market startup ecosystem, particularly in LATAM where he is from.

Prior to his graduate program, Fernando worked at Revelo and Greenhill & Co. in analyst roles. At Revelo, he assessed market opportunities for new products and services and executeed mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. At Greenhill & Co., Fernando Advised TMT, fintech, and consumer clients, performed financial analysis and modelling, conducted market research, and assisted transaction execution.
