Chiper aims to ease inventory burdens for Latin American corner stores.
Jose is Chiper's CEO. He is an industrial designer by training, with over 15 years of experience developing over 7k technology projects. Prior to Chiper, Jose led the top software studio of Colombia, helping entrepreneurs from all around the globe launch tech products to start a company. During this time, Jose was a part of the creation of the unicorn delivery application, Rappi and in 2018, decided to use his experience working with tech startups to start social e-commerce, Chiper. He is originally from Cali, Colombia.
Carolina Garcia is Chiper's Chief Revenue Officer. Carolina grew up in Bucaramanga, Colombia but transferred to Bogota to finish her undergrad in Economics. After graduation, she joined a consulting company that specialized in CPG's. This is where Carolina first became interested in helping corner store retailers solve inefficiencies. She then joined a startup that aimed to revolutionize the corner store retailer experience through a mobile services platform, as its 3rd employee, where she spent the next eight years. Knowing she wanted to be a force of change in Colombia, Carolina attended MIT Sloan School of Management as a Sloan Fellow to reinforce her tech entrepreneurship skills from a global perspective.
Oscar Sarria is Chiper's Chief Operating Officer. He studied industrial engineering in his native city of Cali, Colombia and has extensive experience working in the mass consumer sector and digital projects management. Prior to Chiper, Oscar worked most recently as Director of Business Development at Imaginamos, Colombia's leading software studio, where he spent the last year honing his skills in strategy, design, and development.
Ricardo Ocampo is Chiper's Chief Financial Officer, with extensive experience in risk analysis and financial planning in the FMCG industry in Latin America. His most recent position prior to Chiper was Financial Director of Team Foods, a food products manufacturing and distributing company. Ricardo holds two Master's degrees, an MBA at IE Business School and a Master's in Operations Research from Universidad de Los Andes, where he also completed his Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering.
